Such controversial days here in the Philippines do end miserable. Another murder in Masbate has been on the news, and guess what, another relative of a candidate for mayor. When will these killings stop?

Such is the race and battle for the local government positions that one must kill in order to be on top. Politicians do know how to get dirty, and they do it with their personal armies. That should be against the law!

While there were previous promises on safety during the election period, it seems that the president has let her guards down this time, just in time to open an opportunity for a hired assassin to do his job while riding the usual black motorcycle in black leather jackets and such.

As I watch the victim’s relatives on the news, sympathy reached out to them, along with pity as I would give anyone who dares go into the deadly world of politics.
